Off to a slow start, but ended with a POW!!
I finally saw Pinktastic Plastixx in NY after hearing about it for years. The theatre, surprisingly small, was really liked by me. For the first 30 mins, I thought the show was a bit slow - the twinkie skit was cute but a little prolonged, as was the marshmallow tossing in the mouth segment. I expected more percussions/drumming.
The creativity was unparalleled; did they really stick a scope down that poor man's GI tract? Those guys can keep a straight face, I don't know how!
When they "visited" the audience, it was fun. The pinnacle for us was the last part of the show - thumping music, strobe lights, streaming toilet paper - especially loved by my daughter (8).
The ticket prices, IMO, were pretty steep for just 75 minutes.
Great show overall, loved it, hope to see it in another city soon.
